Ikea is alive and well!
It was a relief to have supper and rest after finally getting out of the Twin Cities.
Granny squares were my first introduction to the wonderful world of crochet. Mom taught me 40 years ago. Given her condition the last 30 years of her life, it's hard to imagine she was, ever, able to function at that level...my kids will probably be saying the same thing about me some day.
This flowery square is more complicated than the traditional granny...smaller hook, more stitches...my eyeballs are getting a real workout**!
I wish I could make those. Hmmmm, do I have time to add yet another craft to my obsession? Thanks again for ordering the doll. See you on Wed.
