gone fishing

Today was the last time on the lake (for me anyway) until next spring. He will most likely come out when it's frozen... to spear.

Fishing wasn't good but the company was perfect...an eagle soaring over the trees checking out the brunch menu.

I read an intriguing article about going to sleep...I think I'll give it try right now.

His first project after he retired last winter was this ice house....I call it his den. By the time he was done with it the ice was melting, so this year was his first spear fishing experience...good thing we like fish.

Cancelled an appointment to give blood...I know, I know...it's the least I can do for my fellow man, but I hadn't had a good lunch and didn't feel like being wiped out for the rest of the day...bad girl.

This has got to be the cutest cabin in Minnesota...it's on an island!
